The Hoglunds

PBL was paired with the Hoglunds in December of 2022. Branson Hoglund is a fourteen-year-old who loves Marvel and making YouTube videos! In May of 2022 his doctors found a tumor on his knee. In October, he had a successful 11-hour surgery that completely removed this tumor and any other bone with cancer. Branson then had his last chemo treatment, and in July of 2023, he officially won his battle and rung the bell! The Hoglund family is made up of Branson, Andrea, David, and their yellow lab Marvel!

The FLEAGLES

PBL was paired with the Fleagles in October of 2025. Braden Fleagle is a 20-year-old Penn State World Campus student involved in THON and student government! Just after his 16th birthday in January 2021, Braden failed an eye-sight test at the DMV. After seeing doctors just days later, Braden was diagnosed with germinoma. After two brain surgeries, he rang the bell in August 2021! The Fleagle family is made up of Braden, his brothers—Troy and Easton—and his parents—Alison and Daren.
