why i thon

I THON so that no family fights alone. The burden of a childhood cancer diagnosis is unfathomable. Being there for every family and child battling this diagnosis is very important to me and why I fundraise and dance FTK!

I have been involved in THON since elementary school. Attending THON my senior year in high school was one of the main reasons why I chose to attend Penn State. My freshman and sophomore years I served on the Rules and Regulations and Dancer Relations committees. My Junior year, I served as the Fundraising Chair for PBL THON. Now, as a senior, I am a Special Events Family Carnival Captain. THON has given me so many special memories during my time at Penn State, and I could not be more grateful and honored to serve as a PBL dancer this year!
