why i thon

I THON so that kids can live the childhood they deserve. I THON so families do not need to focus on the expensive costs of treatment. I THON to provide kids with love and hope who are going through the most challenging time of their lives.

When I first got to Penn State, and having two parents as alumni, I had an idea of what THON was. However, I always imagined it as simply a fundraiser, but learned how much more it truly meant. I have been fortunate enough to be on two committees during my freshman and sophomore years, and I have loved the THON involvement. My true passion for THON has always been through Phi Beta Lambda. Whether it be spending time with our amazing THON family, going to fundraisers with my brothers, or just spending time in the stands, Phi Beta Lambda has made me fall in love with THON even more.
